Shut down your Surface Pro device.
Flip the device over, so the backside with the kickstand is facing upwards.
Look for a sticker on the lower portion of the device, near the kickstand hinge.
On the sticker, you should see the serial number labeled as “Serial Number” or “S/N.”
To check the serial number of a Microsoft Surface Pro device, you can follow these steps:
Start by turning on your Surface Pro device and logging in to Windows.
Open the Start menu by clicking on the Windows icon located at the bottom left corner of the screen.
Type “Command Prompt” in the search bar, and you will see the “Command Prompt” app appear in the search results. Click on it to open the Command Prompt window.
In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and press Enter:
After executing the command, you will see the serial number of your Surface Pro device displayed in the Command Prompt window.
