Why Microsoft Surface Overheats ?

How to Prevent Surface from Overheating?

  1. Avoid using resource-intensive applications for extended periods of time.

  2. Keep your Surface device’s ventilation system clear of dust and debris.

  3. Ensure that your device’s software and firmware are up-to-date.

  4. Use your device in a cool environment and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight.

  5. Avoid charging your device for extended periods of time.

  6. Send for servicing which includes thermal paste replacement. once a year for heavy user, once every 2 years for non-heavy user.
