SD card showing a “card error,” or photos and dash-cam footage suddenly gone? Esmond Service Centre recovers data from SD, microSD and CF cards across Singapore — free evaluation, no-data-no-fee.

From DSLRs and drones to car cameras and phones, memory cards store some of our most important moments — but they're small, fragile and easily corrupted. If your SD card was removed while writing, shows a “card error,” or your files have suddenly gone missing, our specialists can help recover them.

If any of these has just happened, stop using the card straight away — that one step decides how much we can get back. Do not shoot or record anything else onto it, do not let the camera or phone reformat it “to see if that helps”, and do not run recovery software that writes to the card itself. Deleted and formatted files usually stay on the card until something overwrites them, so the safest thing you can do is take the card out and bring it in. Our own guides say the same: how to back up your data and data recovery tips.

We provide memory card data recovery in Singapore for a wide range of devices, including Canon, Sony, GoPro, DJI, Android phones and in-vehicle dash cams — whether you've lost driving footage, personal videos or photos.

Whatever the cause, the steps are the same and you stay in control of the cost:

Memory card recovery is priced per job after the free evaluation, with a fixed quote upfront and no hidden charges. On a no-data-no-fee basis you approve the price before recovery begins. What you pay depends on whether a reader can still see the card — a logical fault such as deletion, formatting or a corrupted file system — or cannot see it at all, which is a hardware-level job. These are the rates Esmond Service Centre already publishes on our main data recovery Singapore page, or contact us for a free assessment.
| What we recover | Starts at (SGD, excl. GST) | Typical turnaround |
|---|---|---|
| Software-level recovery — deleted or formatted files, a “card error”, or a card that asks to be formatted but is still detected | Fr $95 | From 1–3 working days |
| Hardware-level recovery — card not detected in any reader, or physically damaged | $580 and above | From 10–14 working days |
Send us the symptom and we'll come back with what it likely is, what it will cost, and how long it will take. The diagnosis is free, and if we can't fix it, you pay nothing.
Bring it to Esmond Service Centre at Sin Ming or Alexandra — free diagnostics, repairs from $65, many done in 1–2 hours.
